Gloucestershire Young Carers, along with researchers, organisations, and policy makers from all over the world, came together for this year’s International Young Carers Conference held at Manchester Metropolitan University.
School groups workshop a success! We were pleased with the response that we had from schools for our workshop on Young Carers Action Day 13th March. It was all about running young carer groups in schools and how this can be done and we had over twenty schools sign up for it!

Last month we ran our Caring Counts course for our Young Adult Carers aged 16-18 at the Ed Shed in Gloucester enabling them to come together to learn, support and share.
On Monday 1st April 2024 three young carers were given the opportunity to be special guests at Cheltenham Town FC vs Exeter City in a crucial Sky bet League One match at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium.
