Trustee Runs For Young Carers

Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ duo is back for the third year running (and swimming and cycling) to participate in the Upton-Upon-Severn triathlon on Saturday 12th July 2014, in aid of worthy charitable causes.

Mat Waddington, Partner in the law firm’s family team, is raising funds for Gloucestershire Young Carers. www.glosyoungcarers.org.uk and Anna Roby-Welford, Marketing Director, is raising money for Get Ahead www.getahead.org.uk, via the firm’s Charitable Trust, which donates to a range of charitable causes across the Three Counties.

This is the tenth annual triathlon and the third in which the pair have taken part. The standard course involves a tough 1500m swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run across the Worcestershire countryside and both are looking forward to the challenge.

Mat Waddington, Partner and Trustee of Gloucestershire Young Carers, said; “I’ve really enjoyed participating in this event in previous years and it’s all for a very worthy cause which is very close to my heart.”

Anna Roby-Welford, Marketing Director, commented; “The Upton-Upon-Severn triathlon is a great event and part of a wider personal challenge for me. This year I’m participating in four half marathons and one triathlon, raising money for our Charitable Trust as I go!”
