We’re all about TEA this month. Tearooms at Tewkesbury and planning your Afternoon Tea for GYC event.
If any of the following ideas and opportunities for volunteering appeal to you or colleagues and friends then contact me directly:
- Counter staff/kitchen volunteers/waiters/waitresses: Touching Souls Tea Rooms at Tewkesbury Abbey. 9.30am to 3pm (please volunteer for as long as you can make – we can arrange shifts Saturday 19th March 2016
- Cake Bakers: donations of cakes for the Tea Rooms event on the 19th. Cakes of a decent size required by Friday 18th March 2016
- Leafleteers: volunteers to help distribute information about our exciting forthcoming fundraising campaign to churches, playgroups, businesses, hospitals and care homes (by hand or via email). Date to suit.
Afternoon Tea for GYC: This is a very exciting fundraising project we are launching. We are encouraging you all to consider holding an ‘Afternoon Tea for GYC’ in your home, office, community group or school to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday.
Invite friends and offer them a cuppa and cake – we can provide you with a fundraising kit.
If you have links with any churches or schools who you can persuade to hold an event then please let us know.
We will be holding our very own Afternoon Tea for GYC on June 12 at Pittville Pump Rooms. More information and tickets will be available on our website nearer the time.
