| What's it like being new at the group? "I've just started Young Carers today and it's fun. I was very nervous about coming for the first time but it's great, I like coming here because everyones really friendly and made me feel really welcome. If you read this, don't be scared to come to Young Carers, I did it and I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to coming again. They have lots of sports facilities and entertainment. Last year I went to the Young Carers Festival for the first time. The festival is a chance for Young Carers from around the country to meet up over a weekend and get away from things. Last year it was really good.
This year I'm going to the Festival again and I'm expecting it to be much better, because I'll know more people and I have more confidence. I hope there are more activities this year and I hope to see people that I met last year. I look forward to chilling out and having the weekend off work. |
