Database/IT/Website Technician

24 hours per week

£21,166-£23,866 (pro-rata, dependent on qualification and experience)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance and integrity of our client database (Charitylog), ensure the smooth day to day running of our IT support and resources and be able to maintain and update our website.

We are looking for an experienced database technician who can hit the ground running with experience in database management, IT support and website maintenance (WordPress).

An exciting opportunity exists to join an award-winning organisation at the forefront of developing support services with and for young carers.

Young Carers Key Worker

37 hours per week:   Gloucestershire Young Carers Salary Scale Pt 26 – 29, £24,799 – £26,999

Permanent contract subject to continued funding.

The successful candidate will be responsible, taking a whole family approach, for undertaking assessment visits with young carers and their families in order to identify their needs and develop a support plan. You will work directly with young carers to achieve positive outcomes delivering a minimum of two weekly term time respite/activity groups in various localities (currently Cam and Cirencester) and contributing to well-being groups.  You will also be involved in organising and delivering a programme of activity breaks for young carers across the county and providing one to one support to young carers as appropriate.

We are looking for an experienced professional with proven ability in communicating sensitively with children, young people and their families and in organising group activities.  You will hold a relevant qualification (Level 3) within Youth Work/Education/Social Care/Health. You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in the use of IT.  You will need to be available for regular evening and occasional weekend work.
